"Hey girl... Would you want to perform in a fierce female cabaret night with a new girl in town named Angela and I?" Who knew such an innocuous text from Jennifer Cecil would open the door to a wonderful partnership between her, Angela Burns-Crowley, and Joyanne. After months of putting together a set list, finding incomparable direction from Kodi Cannon, and mad accompanying skills of Chris Santillán, these three relative newbies to Ottawa had a blast bringing to life songs made famous by the dames of Broadway, classic and contemporary (with a few gender-benders to shake things up). A standing ovation and request for an encore was the icing on the cake of an amazing experience, done with the best of friends.
